The Best Dress for Summertime: Free People

Dress: Free People (also available in red!)|Bag: Francesca's, similar here|Slides: Target (similar here, also love these)|Hair: Barefoot Blonde (color Peanut Butter and Jealous)|Make up: Bareminerals, Urban Decay, Becca, and Loreal

I am ashamed to admit how many times I have worn this dress since I purchased it. I may or may not have worn it Saturday + Sunday for the last three weekends...  I wore it to brunch, to a wedding, to dinner with friends, to a brewery, to clean my house, and to go grocery shopping at Trader Joes. Yikes.

It is so comfortable, light weight, and not to mention the fit is flattering! I also purchased this dress in red, which I don't typically gravitate toward. I'm a neutral-hued girl tried and true (blue is about as adventurous of a color palette as I get). But the red shade is pretty muted and, to be honest, I love this dress so much, I'd will wear it in any color.

I've been drawn to blue stripes lately, probably a nautical-summer-vibe-thing, ground breaking I know. But I love it paired with this textured, woven bag. (My husband calls it my "tambourine bag" lol.) I like the relaxed, bohemian vibe that it brings to the look and dresses it down a bit for daytime. Let me know what you think and thanks again for stopping by!

The Style Storm Re-Launch! What to expect!

Happy Tuesday and welcome to The Style Storm! I am so happy you are here as I relaunch my blog. I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Christina Storm, I'm a twenty-something navigating the world of being a newly wed, full-time professional, and new homeowner. I am a physical therapist by day and style lover by night. I have a secret love for home decor and a not so secret love for Jesus.

As some of you may know, I started this blog about 5-6 years ago as a creative outlet while I was in grad school where I focused primarily on fashion. Almost three years ago, I took an unintentional break from blogging that ended up being really good for me. I refocused and realized why I started this blog in the first place: to create a space where I share a curated collection of things that inspire me to hopefully inspire others. :)

So today, I am re-committing to The Style Storm. I am so excited to share with you my personal style as well as home decor, travel, and lifestyle inspirations with dedicated series on our wedding, our new home, and my personal style. Thank you so much to all of you who follow along already, it means so much to me. For those of you who are new, welcome, I am so glad that you are here! Stay tuned for new posts starting this week.
